  FOURTH-QUARTER UPDATE: A short punt gave Neshannock the ball deep in Riverside territory early in the fourth. They failed to convert and turned over the ball at the 29 with 5:57 to go. The Panthers cut the deficit with 1:41 left on a touchdown pass. Riverside recovered the onside kick, but turned it over with 1:03 to go.
THIRD-QUARTER UPDATE: Neshannock began the second half with a touchdown drive. Frank Antuono capped it with a 5-yard run. The conversion pass failed and the Lancers had a 14-0 lead with 8:45 left. Riverside responded with a touchdown drive of its own. Ben Hughes broke the shutout when he kept the ball and plunged in from the 1 to cut the Lancers lead to 14-7 with 1:45 remaining. Neshannock needed four plays to retaliate. Antuono fired a 17-yard TD pass to Chris Scott for a 20-7 lead at the horn.
SECOND-QUARTER UPDATE: Neshannock drove to the Riverside 19 with 9:51 left in the second, but turned it over on downs. The Panthers got a chance when they recovered a fumble deep in Lancers territory, but turned it back over on downs with 6:33 on the clock. Frank Antuono hit Chris Scott for a 28-yard pass to get out of danger, but the Lancers turned it over on downs at the Riverside 20. Neshannock's Danny Welker intercepted a pass at the 30 and returned it to the 10 with just over two minutes on the clock. On fourth down, Sean Doran crashed in from the 1. Antuono hit Welker for the conversion and an 8-0 lead with 46.5 seconds left in the half.
FIRST-QUARTER UPDATE: Riverside drove deep into Neshannock territory, but the Panthers coughed up the ball with 3:18 left in the first.
