FOURTH-QUARTER UPDATE: Keene's second touchdown of the game — a 3-yard run on fourth down with 1:16 remaining in regulation gave the Red Hurricane the victory. The New Castle defense then forced three straight incompletions on Indiana's final drive to preserve the win. The two quarterbacks exchanged touchdowns in the first six minutes — Bongivengo's fourth touchdown on a 1-yard plunge and Fiscus on a 6-yard run — to keep the score knotted.
THIRD-QUARTER UPDATE: Bongivengo ran for two more touchdowns — runs of 5 and 53 yards — helping New Castle keep pace with Indiana, which scored on a Pettina 28-yard interception return and a Ben Fiscus 1-yard run. New Castle amassed over 430 yards total offense through three periods.
SECOND-QUARTER UPDATE: New Castle and Indiana combined for three touchdowns in the final 58.2 seconds to cap off a 28-28 first half. Bongivengo scored on a 2-yard run with 58.2 seconds left and threw a 24-yard scoring strike to Jay with 0.6 remaining to help the Red Hurricane tie the count. Following Bongivengo's touchdown run, Kyle Edgar returned the kick 88 yards to give Indiana a brief 28-21 lead with 46.5 seconds remaining. Keith Keene accounted for New Castle's other score on a 4-yard run. Indiana countered with touchdown runs of 2 yards by Jay Pettina and 14 yards by Vince Gatti.
FIRST-QUARTER UPDATE: Brandon Burley hauled in an 11-yard scoring strike from Michael Bongivengo on the final play of the period, and Jajuan Jay's conversion kick gave the Red Hurricane a slim lead.
