FOURTH-QUARTER UPDATE: Minenok's 1-yard run early in the fourth trimmed the deficit to 30-28. After a defensive stop, Nick Treloar's 10-yard jaunt put New Castle ahead. Gunn hauled in the 2-point pass from Minenok to give the 'Canes a 36-30 lead with 5:51 to play. The Tigers retaliated and moved ahead on a Yaramus 3-yard run with 2:46 to go. New Castle regained the lead on Treloar's 25-yard jaunt with 1:17 remaining. The 'Canes held off Moon's last offensive drive to wrap up their first win of the year.
THIRD-QUARTER UPDATE: Early in the third, Thomas Dean returned a fumble 38 yards to give Moon a 24-13 advantage. New Castle responded when Pat Minenok found Joe Gunn for a 35-yard TD pass. Glenel had the 2-point run to trim the 'Canes' deficit to 24-21. Jamar Sherrill intercepted a Pat Minenok pass and returned it deep into New Castle territory. Two plays later, Isaiah Pridgen scored a touchdown. The PAT kick failed to give Moon a 30-21 lead with 45.3 seconds left into the third.
SECOND-QUARTER UPDATE: Glenel's second carry went for a 58-yard TD early in the second quarter. However, Moon came back and cut the deficit to 13-10 on Matthew Dunning's 25-yard run. New Castle fumbled the ensuing kickoff and the Tigers recovered. Quarterback Aleksei Yaramus put the guests ahead, 17-13, with a 10-yard run with 3:57 to play.
FIRST-QUARTER UPDATE: New Castle went on 99-yard drive, capped by Daylyn Glenel's 44-yard TD run. Moon sliced the deficit in half late in the first quarter on Tyler Manuel's 27-yard field goal.
