FOURTH-QUARTER UPDATE: West Allegheny rallied in the fourth period to remain unbeaten. Koester and Chase Dillon scored on 1-yard runs to put West A up 31-19. New Castle closed the gap to six on Cox's 16-yard pass to Drew Allen, but Delmonico scored on a 41-yard run giving West A a 37-25 lead. Cox capped the scoring with his third touchdown run of the game, a 1-yard sneak with 50 seconds remaining.
THIRD-QUARTER UPDATE: Tory Delmonico capped the lone scoring drive in the third period on a 1-yard run, sending the game into the final period with New Castle leading 19-17.
SECOND-QUARTER UPDATE: New Castle widens its lead at the break. Cox scored on a 36-yard run and LeVare Ware returned an interception 31 yards for a touchdown for the 'Canes. West Allegheny scored on a 10-yard pass from Andrew Koester to Robert Threet.
FIRST-QUARTER UPDATE: Quarterback Julian Cox raced 63 yards for a touchdown late in the period, giving New Castle a 6-3 lead. West Allegheny took a 3-0 lead earlier on T.J. Opsatnik's 30-yard field goal.
